Trauma, Karma & Dharma:
The Sacred Alchemy of Healing
for the New Earth
“The wound is the place where the Light enters you.” — Rumi
As the world trembles at the threshold of transformation, one truth rises unmistakably: we cannot enter a Golden Age burdened by unhealed wounds. If karma is the unseen blueprint of our spiritual lessons, trauma is the raw imprint of those lessons unintegrated. Understanding trauma is understanding karma—and healing trauma is accelerating dharma.
In other words: trauma work is spiritual work.
“The phrase ‘moving from karma to dharma,’ can be applicable and imply that we can resolve to less thwarted by negative karmas. That we can move through these and commit to our Highest Path.” — Padma Khandro, Dakini Weaving – Keys to the Golden Age
Why Trauma Healing Is Key to Our Ascension
Let’s name the truth: we are a planet saturated in trauma. From generational wounds to societal upheavals, colonial legacies to broken homes, we are navigating a collective crisis of fragmentation. These wounds don’t just live in the past—they haunt our nervous systems, cloud our perceptions, and keep us looping in fear, shame, and disconnection.
But here’s the magic: trauma is not the end of the story—it’s the threshold to spiritual mastery.
When trauma is understood not as a random misfortune but as ripened karma, a seed we are now conscious enough to transmute, then healing becomes a sacred task. We are no longer victims. We are alchemists.
Trauma + Karma = Opportunity
Trauma is what happens when karma becomes overwhelming to the system—when a shock, loss, or stressor is too big to be processed in the moment, it gets stuck. Energetically. Emotionally. Somatically. Spiritually.
From a karmic view, trauma often arises as a return of unresolved patterns—both personal and ancestral. These patterns ask to be acknowledged, witnessed, and transmuted, not just endured. And if we don’t face them, they don’t just disappear—they replay, reincarnate, and ripple into our relationships, our bodies, and our futures.
In this sense, being trauma-informed is being karma-aware.
“Some hallmarks of trauma—dissociated, apathetic, fragmented, robotic, hypervigilant, dumbed down, frozen, erratic, nervous, rage, overwhelm, nervous system dysregulation, existential malaise, dehumanisation, hypersexualisation, inability to concentrate, looping, avoidant behaviours, addictive tendencies, disconnection from body, disconnection from Spirit, disconnection from nature, and community and many more.” — Padma Khandro, Dakini Weaving – Keys to the Golden Age

Why Practitioners of Integrity Must Be Trauma-Informed
Whether you’re a healer, teacher, spiritual seeker, or leader, being trauma-informed isn’t a luxury—it’s non-negotiable if we are to walk the path of dharma with integrity.
- It helps us create safe, inclusive, and non-coercive spaces.
- It fosters compassion, not judgement, when someone is triggered or reactive.
- It reduces spiritual bypassing and deepens our capacity for real transformation.
We don’t rise to higher timelines by ignoring suffering—we ascend by turning toward it with wisdom and applied love.
Trauma Is Multidimensional—And So Are We
Trauma doesn’t just affect the mind—it lives in the body, energy field, soul, and ancestral lines. A multidimensional approach recognizes that:
- Trauma can be inherited (epigenetics & legacy burdens).
- It can come from past lives or interdimensional experiences.
- It affects the chakras, subtle bodies, and morphogenetic field.
- It can be read through astrology, cleared through tantra, and transmuted through devotion and practice.
This is why healing cannot be one-size-fits-all. It must be somatic, energetic, psychological, spiritual, and communal.
“Trauma is now seen as a multidimensional occurrence that can be treated through the Russian doll of our body out to our soul/consciousness and our ancestors. Trauma is not just something that is stored in the brain and body—it is fully multidimensional. The causes of trauma may reside in other realms and furthermore the remedy of trauma may be approached from beyond clinical modalities.” — Padma Khandro, Dakini Weaving – Keys to the Golden Age
Multidimensional perspectives:
- Shamanism and soul fragments
- Ancestral trauma and epigenetics
- In utero/gestational trauma
- indigenous/tribal/racialised trauma
- Trauma related to environmental distress- sensitivity to the natural realms and other species
- Collective trauma- this may often arise during specific astrological transits and influences and energy sensitive people may experience it more finitely.
Trauma Work as Dharma Work
To walk the path of dharma—our soul’s purpose—is to become more free, more whole, and more available for service. But we can’t embody our highest potential when part of us is stuck in a past moment of terror, grief, or betrayal.
Unhealed trauma keeps us in the Drama Triangle—oscillating between victim, perpetrator, and rescuer. It fragments our focus, clouds our vision, and perpetuates unconscious patterns. But when we start to heal…
- We unblend from the past.
- We restore energetic sovereignty.
- We reclaim our gifts.
- We release the density of old samskaras.
This is why healing trauma is not a detour from spiritual growth—it’s the fast track.
“Understanding how trauma works and its connection to karma, can help us mindfully guide ourselves and others through the process without getting stuck in victim-perpetrator narratives and dualistic thinking. Furthermore, trauma is multidimensional and can be worked on from many angles to deepen overall healing. Finally, we have to understand that there is a time when each person is truly ready to heal.”— Padma Khandro, Dakini Weaving – Keys to the Golden Age
From Loops to Liberation: Healing as Timeline Work
Every time we break a cycle of trauma—whether ancestral, societal, or personal—we change the morphogenetic field. We reduce the karmic weight for future generations. We reclaim power from the past and return it to the now.
- Every trauma processed = one less loop.
- Every act of embodied compassion = a higher frequency encoded.
- Every healed heart = a portal to the New Earth.
And this isn’t just poetic—it’s energetic law.

The Path Forward: How to Engage Trauma Multidimensionally
To be trauma-aware in the Age of Awakening means:
Acknowledge the wound without identifying with it
Feel the pain without collapsing into it
Resource the nervous system with safe tools (breath, movement, presence)
Look deeper—into the karmic, ancestral, and energetic roots
Transmute through practice: mantra, meditation, somatics, ritual
Serve—use your healing as fuel for compassion, not ego
Healing Our Way into the Golden Age
We are not here to carry the wounds of the world—we are here to alchemise them.
When trauma is healed, it becomes wisdom. When karma is transmuted, it becomes dharma. And when enough of us awaken through this sacred fire, the Golden Age is not a dream—it’s a timeline we’ve earned.
So do the work, but don’t do it alone.
Meet your pain with presence.
Honour your ancestors by ending the loops.
Be the one who transmutes the density into devotion.
And walk boldly into the Light.
Fusion Trauma Work
I personally have been studying trauma for 25 years and have delivered a lot of work ‘in the field’ and with one to one clients, small and large groups internationals. I have also pioneered the fusion of several trauma healing modalities to create faster track trauma release such as the work i have brought together from plant based work, Internal Family Systems, Tibetan Buddhism , Astrology, Energetic Medicine, Ancestral work and Quantum Transfiguration.
Whilst i am deeply trauma-informed and have a lot of experience with working with different afflictions (please note that if you have complex trauma or have deep PTSD a referral may be better as my work is quite multi-faceted and dynamic). Many clients may need to do initial trauma work to deal with overwhelm in order to be able to grasp the multidimensional nuances and deep rewiring nature of the work i offer.
We have a course and many tools and mini modules to help you be more trauma-informed or to work with your overwhelm but please do consider a longer term intervention and professional support if you are finding it hard to cope on a day-to-day basis. My work is about getting people more deeply on their dharma path and as such people need to have reached a degree of mobilisation, dedication and self-awareness for me to find the capacity to work with them because i have many concurrent responsibilities.
Please get in touch with dharmastars.org@gmail.com for a 15 min consultation if you wish to explore possibilities with us.

Recorded course available
In this course, we offer an overview to numerous trauma-informed therapies, tools and approaches to give you a multi-layered understanding of how trauma can be tackled from different vantage points and with diverse client needs. The course is intended as an overview to help practitioners and those interested in working through their own wounds to gain a basic understanding of trauma, to work on themselves AND to tune into what form of professional training they might seek in the future.
Students will get to learn how to bridge for overwhelmed clients while they seek referrals and basic insights as to how to gauge trauma in others and self. There is deep weaving of the concepts within trauma work to enable students to work in a lateral and informed way to help to support our communities at this time.
It includes teachings on many key therapeutic modalities for dealing with trauma plus mapping of its multidimensional components and training tools and referral programme.
It is a valuable bridging tool in exemplary circumstances and does not substitute full training in a specific discipline or qualification.
We look forward to sharing these teachings and modalities with you at this important time!
